Wow!  It was so hard to see these missionaries leave.  Some very hard working missionaries and it is hard to let them go.  We are so grateful for their dedicated service and they will be missed.

We are so very thankful for these wonderful new missionaries that have come to the Florida Orlando Mission.  They will truly be a great addition with their energetic smiles and strong testimonies of Jesus Christ.

                                          Orlando Zone

                                          Orlando South Zone
                                          COCOA ZONE

This Zone Conference was a special gathering of the Florida Orlando Mission.  The missionaries came prepared for the messages and training from Elder and Sister Zwick.  Because of their preparation we were blessed with an outpouring of the Spirit.  It was one of the most significant events in the mission during our service.  May we reflect often on the mercies and blessings we felt that day.

Elder W. Craig Zwick was the General Authority for our Mission Tour this October 10-11, 2012.
Elder W. Craig Zwick was sustained as a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 1, 1995. He served as president of the Brazil, Brazil South, and North America Northeast Areas. He has also served in the presidencies of the Europe West and Europe Central Areas. He is currently serving as an Assistant Executive Director of both the Missionary Department and the Correlation Department. William Craig Zwick was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on June 30, 1947. He married Janet Johnson in 1969. They are the parents of four children and have fifteen grandchildren.

Elder Zwick told the missionaries to rise to a new sense of commitment, all that is unfair about life can be made right through the Atonement and be dependent on the Lord.

Zone Leaders Council's are the best! We are able to council and discuss issues pertaining to the FOM. There is also accounting, reporting and training and assignments. We all learn and contribute and work together. Great things happen.

It is such a privilege to serve with each missionary that comes to the FOM. As we send missionaries home we reflect on their goodness and great contributions to this work. As new missionaries arrive we see in their eyes the excitement and anticipation of serving the Lord Jesus Christ. As hard as it is for us we love the spirit and strength of arrivals and departures.

I think one of the blessings of missionary work is to be able to see things as they really are. To really understand the piece of the mission that each departing missionary contributed, and what really they accomplished during their ministry. In short to see what God sees. We love all, past, present and future missionaries of this great work.
