On August 11, 2010 our first batch of missionaries, 9 Elders and 1 sister went home. It was a very emotional time to see these Elders and Sister leave the mission. They are such great missionaries with strong testimonies and we will miss them. We went to the the temple and then had dinner after at the mission home.

  1. Hello President and Sister Hall! I have been looking through your blog and loving all the pictures. Florida is one of a kind. I had no idea the mission was so large! Sorry we missed the 51st ward reunion. We were actually planning on coming. Then Titus decided to come instead! Look forward to learning more about Florida... maybe I'll see some of my family on here! They do populate like 1/2 of Orlando area, so it seems. Hope your surviving the heat. Man, what a time of year to go, eh?

  2. We stumbled across your blog this morning. What a great looking group of missionaries, not to mention the leaders. Sis. Hall, good to see that you have the presidente working.

  3. This looks like quite a dinner and not even eating oatmeal??!! This must be a missionary dinner rather than a stake president dinner. :) So fun to read through your experiences and see all that is going on for you. I think of you often and miss my counseling sessions. As hard as Kevin has tried to fill in the gap, I think he realized that I am crazy from day 1 and gave up hope. :) I got called to be the ward missionary in my ward and credit that to our investigation talks and sessions before you left...so thank you for the preparation. Hope you are doing so well for both of you!! All the Best -Lexi
